Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of home renovation services and the use of card payments and other payment methods for services provided by TAGO LTD (“Company”). By engaging our services and making a payment to the Company, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Client” refers to the individual or entity engaging the Company for services.
  • “Services” refer to the home renovation work provided by the Company.
  • “Contract” refers to the agreement between the Client and the Company for the provision of services.

2. Quotations

  • All quotations provided by the Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Quotations are based on the initial specifications provided by the Client. Any changes may result in an adjustment to the quoted price.

3. Scope of Work

  • The scope of work will be outlined in the quotation and contract.
  • Any additional work requested by the Client that is not included in the original scope will be charged separately.

4. Project Timeline

  • The Company will provide an estimated timeline for the completion of the project.
  • While the Company will make every effort to adhere to the timeline, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. The Company is not liable for such delays.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client must ensure that the work area is accessible and free from hazards.
  • The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals required for the project.
  • The Client must provide accurate information and cooperate with the Company to ensure smooth project execution.

6. Materials and Equipment

  • The Company will supply all necessary materials and equipment for the project unless otherwise agreed.
  • Any materials supplied by the Client must be fit for purpose and comply with relevant standards.

7. Workmanship and Quality

  • The Company guarantees that all work will be carried out to a high standard of quality and workmanship.
  • Any defects in workmanship must be reported within 30 days of project completion. The Company will rectify any reported defects at no additional cost.

8. Health and Safety

  • The Company is committed to maintaining a safe working environment and will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • The Client must inform the Company of any known health and safety risks at the worksite.

9. Insurance

  • The Company holds public liability insurance to cover any damages or injuries that may occur during the provision of services.
  • The Client is advised to hold appropriate insurance for their property and contents.

10. Payment Methods

  • We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
  • Payments can also be made via bank transfer, cheque, or cash, subject to prior arrangement.

11. Card Payments

  • All card payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor.
  • The cardholder must be the authorised user of the card used for payment.
  • The Company reserves the right to verify the identity of the cardholder for security purposes.

12. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required upon completion of the work.
  • Clients have 7 days from the invoice date to make the payment in full.
  • For larger projects, staged payments may be required as outlined in the payment schedule provided with the quotation.

13. Late Payments

  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if payments are not made on time.

14. Refunds and Disputes

  • Refunds are provided at the Company’s discretion and only if services have not been rendered as agreed.
  • Any disputes regarding payments must be raised within 14 days of the payment date.

15. Cancellation Policy

  • Clients may cancel their contract with the Company by providing written notice.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of acceptance will receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made after this period may incur a cancellation fee as outlined in the quotation.

16. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the contract by providing written notice.
  • If the Client terminates the contract without cause, the Client may be liable for any costs incurred up to the date of termination.

17. Limitation of Liability

  • The Company’s liability for any claim arising out of the provision of services is limited to the amount paid by the Client for those services.
  • The Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

18. Force Majeure

  • The Company is not liable for any failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.

19. Confidentiality

  • Both parties agree to keep any confidential information disclosed during the course of the project confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without prior consent.

20. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

21. Changes to These Terms

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
  • Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.
  • Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
